The cables for my wipers are frayed and stretched. Looking for a source for repair or for input on how others have restored their own back to ORIGINAL.

Thanks

I replaced my cables with nice flexible new stainless steel ones which I purchased from a boat shop. Yhey use them for outboard motor controls etc. I just used electrical connectors to join them in to the unworn section of the old cables.

One possible source for high-strength cable and high-tension joiners is
an archery shop. They have cable and joiners. Our local hardware chain also sells aircraft cable in different sizes and the "swedges" necessary to join them.
Never actually tried them myself (found a replacement transmission), but have purchased antique "Windsheild Wiper Cable Linkage Repair Kit"s on eBay. If they patched them "back in the day" we can do it now. Good Luck, Bob
