51 Buick Special 6 to 12 volt Questions

About switching from a 6 to 12 volt system does anyone have a step by step to follow I'd really like to make sure I'm doing this right. Any and all pointers would be helpfull I start the project Saturday.

I have always had good luck keeping the 6 volt systems. As long as all the connections are clean and tight and all components are in optimum working condition, you will not have any problems.
