Fred,

You can buy a brand new one from Dennis Carpenter Ford reproduction parts. This is a Stewart-Warner unit like you need. All you have to do is bend the float rod according to your application. I don't have the part number in front of me, but maybe someone else will chime in with that. Good Luck.

Unless there is another Ford sending unit P/N I do not know about, the Ford units I have tried/seen have had the wrong resistance values to work correctly with the Hudson receiver unit, Please advise.

Fred, I'm using a Dennis Carpenter unit in my '51 ... works fine. You'll want the one for the later Fords, not the 30s and 40s version.

Fred,

The Dennis Carpenter part no. that I've got on my '49 is; (99A-9275). It's worked fine for me since I put it in several years ago.

I took your advise, went on line and ordered the sender from Carpenter.
