Not a Hudson, but I thought some of you might enjoy this photo I took yesterday of a rather sorry looking Nash in rural New Mexico. :cool:

Actually the Nash looks better than the house. And a two door yet. Street rod material, (can only improve a Nash)

How can you tell the house is a 2 door? Ya can't see the back.

From the looks of the house, the owner probably spent all his time and money keeping the Nash going.

I wonder if that is the deluxe 2-door model with the inward-facing lounge seats in the back?

Sam,did you just "stumble"onto this,or did someone tell you they knew where a Hudson was???.This IS a really neat picture.It looks like the buildings in the back ground are something modern?,suburbia built up around this place??.Thanks for the photo:)

we used to go to a junkyard that was open only on Saturdays, from 2-5 PM, that had one of these 2 door nashes in it. Coincidentally, it was super rich in hudsons from 48-54. Unfortunately, they crushed it, so it is no more. Hudsondad has a video of the yard, that if he would either convert to DVD, or give me a copy, I would downsample it, and put it on the web for everyone to view. I think a look into circa 1990 would be cool for all of you. You can even see the "kid" as a, well, KID....

Great Saturday afternoon memories! The price structure was $5/hour and all the parts you could remove, including all the beer you could drink. I could buy a car for $50 and strip it in the yard as I eventually got free rein. We bought about a 10-12 cars out of this yard and pulled the drivelines and anything else saveable. There was 3 '54s, 1 '52 and 2 0r 3 '51 Hornets. Lots of 48-50's and a 51 Pacemaker coupe (and a '50 Olds 88 2 door!). I also bought 5 49-50's that were complete but we parted them.
