well i have all the sheet metal removed and i am just about to saw the subframe out of the ole commadore 8 ,(the subframe is bent and was cobbled back together). all the suspension parts seem to be fine and would hate to haul to the scrap iron yard . the can has an actual 44 thou and some change miles on it . i have built my own version of subframe to replace this twisted one ,so the ole 8 will set in correctly and the car won't lean . when the car was wrecked it also tore the driver's side peremater frame about 8 inches behind where the front connetion of the sub is so i have some repair there also .. hope to one day have this on the road as this motor is now purring like a kitten or as my brother said "its runnin smooth like a well oiled sewing machine.
i am located in Liberal,Kansas

Unless the repair made changes, the front frame stub is removable by removing the bolts that hold it to the body. There is a weld on the top of the frame at the body but after that is broken and the bolts removed... the frame will slide out of the body. The frame stub from any Hudson Stepdown of the same wheel base will bolt back in place and you will have a Hudson front frame again. There are lots of folks in KS who have parts cars. I suspect you could find one dirt cheap... check the roster.

i think most people have mistaken me . i have a subframe already and have removed the old one as of this morning and was hoping someone could use the suspension parts from it as i won't need them

Hopefully you'll hook up with roymontez.
I don't think it's so much that there aren't folks who want the parts or could use them as location and shipping costs.
I had a heck of a time finding someone who wanted my free Engine and Trans out of my 49 ~ but after a few months I did.
Good Luck with the project!
