Angry Kruse Auction Sellers Beaware.

Wanted to get the word out that all should be aware before selling classic cars at a Kruse International auction. I sold a 1964 Corvette in January and although I have been promised to be paid twice since, they still refuse to pay me for the car sold. I am wanting to get this word out and I am also curious if this has happened to others. mikehem2@msn.com

Default Kruse Auction Sellers Beware

Well, Kruse will not respond to emails or return calls regarding this issue. I have talked with them in the past, but I would have to say that silence regarding this issue does not speak well of them as a company. They are welcome to comment.....but they have chosen not to.

We are having the same problem. We sold our truck in the March 21, 2009 Auction. We have called several dozen's of time. We keep getting voice mail. My husband got through today and they said maybe we would get paid after the June 2009 Auburn auction. This is unblelievable to me. Our contract states they have 30 days to pay.

If I were you, I would contact the States Attorneys Office and file a complaint and one on BBB too. They refuse to return our calls.....sounds like money problems.

Although I have never sold a car through Kruse auctions I know of several people who have. The issue of then taking forever to pay is not new. One gentelman inparticular waited a year to get paid.

My view is if they have failed to pay after 30 days and it is stated in the contract, then talking with the State Attorneys Office is the first step. Bringing the issue up with a lawyer would be my next.

I am possitive they do not wait to get paid. Most credible auction houses pay the sellers quickly and without ignoring them.

Todd

Good luck!

Thanks Ted W. We filed a complaint with BBB and are waiting for a response from Kruse. I sent the paper work to the States Attorney General's office today. I do not think that the complaint with the BBB will do any good, unless parties do their research first and look them up with the BBB before entering into a contract with Kruse.

Guys , that sounds like PONSI with sales to me. BBB never did anything worthwhile on anything I did with the BBB. Being it's interstate you guys affected might want to go to the federal level. BUD
