Wow, check out the resto info on a sweet 66 Mustang on Ford Muscle, interesting reading..

What an extremely sad resto job that was done by an so called "business" on a classic 66, with a rare bench front seat in it, at least the owner had the seats done at a different shop, they look fantastic. Poor guy already has a quote of over 4000 to get the "newly painted and restored" 66 done the proper way, by a licensed body shop.

Seems this thread was too hot for Ford Muscle to handle, since the work was done by a so called restoration shop in Utah, the news is now on

As a Mustang owner, and have restored a few in my time, this is the most interesting reading,, if you read between the lines of it all, the owner got taken for a ride on this restoration, and not in his own mustang. Beware of falling into scam shops. I sure hope the guy gets his car finished by a legitimate shop, now that he has it back in his hands.
