That's an awful broad question, YES it is possible. I put an '85 305 chevy ebngine in a '79 Ford Pick-up, so I guess almost anything is possible.I have been told that swaping a Chevy motor out for a Pontiac is pretty simple, HOWEVER - I also put a '73 Pontiac 400 in my '66 caprice and found that it was absolutely NOT simple. I had to fabricate my own motor mounts, hedders, transmission mounts, driveshaft...
But it can be done. I hope yours IS simple, but let us all know how it turns out.
GOOD LUCK

ok guy this isnt as hard as it may seem. pontiac did make a few grand prix's and lemans' and grand ams in the late 70's the had 301's in them. they carry basically the same frame as your regal. i put a 350 pontiac in my original 81 grand prix with little trial and error. the thing that i found was the easiest way to do this swap is to get the mounts for a 78 grand prix, lemans or grand am and use those to mount the engine to the frame. you also have to watch what year 350 you have. some pontiac engines[ specifically the earlier ones have different mounting areas for the mounts on the block]. right off hand i cant remember what years are which but there are differences.if you are still doing this or still want to and need any help feel free to e-mail me at badazz94gtp@yahoo.com
