heres the scoop on those "hard to find" 1941-1947 ( I think 1939 and 1940 also) hudson pickup tailights. originally they had one on the left with license light. made by NACO company, says NACO STANDARD on housing and naco on lense. the easiest way to get one is using 1946 to 1951 Willys CJ2A, wagon, pickup and jeepster. they used the identical same light. also used a matching right light with no license lense if you want two of them on your truck. heres a website that explains all the details
www.cj-2a.com/repros/NACO/index.html yes, there are also nice repros available, get them at northstar willys company, as well as ebay under NACO. a few other vehicles also used them, studebaker, buick, etc. mostly on wagons and trucks. on the repros, the lenses are cast wrong, so get an original NACO lense, fits in repro light better, looks better. hold out for the original willys ones, they are for sale quite often. on the website on willys NACO lights, the one mentioned as "other" is acually a stock hudson pickup tailight.
