Hudson needed for photo shoot
Hello!
I'm a photographer putting together a calendar for 2009 that will feature some classic cars and I'd like to include a Hudson from the 1930s or 1940s. If anyone is interested in having their car used in the calendar, please let me know. I don't have the time frame worked out yet, but of course it wouldn't be until at least springtime. Georgaphy is not an issue, I will travel if necessary.
Thank you!

Re: Hudson needed for photo shoot
Hi, I have a 1934 Hudson 8 Convertible that can be available for pictures. I'm located on the MA/NH boder if you'd like to have a look at the car. Fellow HET'ers that went to the Auburn HET National Meet may have seen it on display. Also, the car was shown at the Meadowbrook Concours d' Elegance this year.

I guess I'm just a suspicious old phart - but something doesn't look right here. If this is legit, and it probably is, why didn't the gentleman put his name on his post - or more details.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Local police are warning of people perpetrating a scam by posing as photographers and using this guise to get access to vintage cars. When an owner agrees to meet them and show the car, they are overtaken and the car stolen.
An investigation began after some people reported having garages broken into after a visit from such "photographers." Police also advise that a reputable company interested in photgraphing your car will have a verifiable street address, telephone number, email and other business credentials. They will also require you to sign a release and offer compensation if they intend to profit from pictures of your property. So, don't be a fool and fall for this scam. If you feel compelled to arrange having your car photographed by a person unknown to you, do not invite them to your home, business of other place of car storage. Offer to meet them at the local police station, a car show or other public place where many people congregate. Oh, and keep your keys in your hand at all times.
Stay safe.

BTW, if anyone is around the central PA area, that has a 51 pacemaker coupe, perhaps in black with twin H and a hydromatic, let me know, I want to shoot it for a calendar. Contact me, we'll meet up in some secluded area, to check out your ride.... hehehe....
