Default A great Hudson vendor

Hello All,

I just wanted to say a few kind words about Mike @ Bill and Charlies Antique Auto Parts. As most you know, Ken and Kay Ammans entire Hudson parts stash was purchased by Bill and Charlies about a year ago. The Hudson inventory they have is overwhelming to say the least. Luckily for me, the warehouse is about 12 miles north of my home, so I just drive up there to shop for Hudson parts whenever I need to. Just an example, I was looking for a head gasket today, so Mike directs me to a boxed skid of them 3 feet high! They have everything from Stepdown quarter panels to wiper blades. They even have bottles of Hudsonite in stock. Mike runs the internet and counter sales and is a super great guy! He helps any way he can, and has very reasonable prices. He is an asset to any Hudson owner in search of parts. So if any of you guys and gals need Hudson parts, Mike @ Bill and Charlies Antique Auto Parts is the man to talk to.

Thumbs up Re: A great Hudson vendor

Hello Dave,

Thank you for the post. I have bought several parts from Bill & Charlie's through E-Bay, and have been satisfied every time. I have thought about driving up to their place, but have so far been dissuaded by the fact that between their place in Richmond and me in Champaign is that mass known as Chicago. I'll have to try to find a way around it, I guess.

Take care,

Steve Bryson

I've also bought stuff from them off eBay, and have been very satisfied (their eBay seller name is billandcharliesantiqueauto). Didn't know the Ammans connection... I'll pay more attention to what they've got listed, now!

I have tried calling Bill and Charlies for many weeks now and have no reply and now the number is disconnected. I am restoring a 55 Hudson Hornet.

Good Morning Steve,

I just took delivery on pretty good condition 1956 Hornet (you can see picture attachment on forum) really purchased for the Twin-H set up, but car is too nice to part out...Presently have two projects underway and don't know if I will go forwad with '56 Hornet, however just in case I do, I would appreciate if you forward me any parts suppliers you found of 1955-1957 Hudson's to following email address: kada9528@cox.net

Thank you,

Ray

Cole,

I just spoke with them yesterday and was informed that phone lines and internet connections have been cut at the warehouse. Mike is setting up working from his home until the problem is resolved. Try e-mailing him (first post) and I'm sure he'll get back to you.

Mike has gone the extra mile for me several times. AND he COMMUNICATES. A pleasure to deal with. I'm sure they will get the phone problem fixed soon.
